Training and updating professionals

The Regional Accounting Council of the state of São Paulo – CRCSP requires that auditors comply with 40 annual hours in trainings, aiming at maintaining, updating and expanding technical knowledge and competence of the professionals.

By means of the Continued Professional Education (EPC), LCC complies with, annually, scores over the 40 required hours, participating in workshops, forums, national and international seminars related to audit, IFRS, among others, exceeding the hours required for the certification.

Marcello Lopes

Founder and CEO of LCC Auditores and Consultores

Marcello Lopes has over thirty years of experience in audit and external consulting and in the accounting area. During his career, he worked at big companies, part of the Big Four – nomenclature used to refer to the four biggest companies specialized in audit and consulting in the world.  In 2012, after decades of work in companies of the segment, Lopes founded LCC Auditores e Consultores, with the intent to improve the business practice of clients in an innovative and multidisciplinary manner.

He is a member of the National Association of Finance, Management and Accounting (Associação Nacional dos Executivos de Finanças Administração e Contabilidade – ANEFAC), of the Brazilian Institute of Finance Executives of São Paulo (Instituto Brasileiro dos Executivos de Finanças de São Paulo – IBEF), of the Marion Institute of Accounting Excellence (Instituto Marion de Excelência Contábil), associated to the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa – IBGC) and the Brazilian Independent Auditors Institute (Instituto dos Auditores Independentes do Brasil – Ibracon).

Education and qualification

Marcello is graduated in Economy and Accounting Sciences, with MBAs by Anderson University, in the USA. He has a Masters’ Degree in Accounting and Actuarial Sciences by PUC São Paulo, whose dissertation(“APPLICATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL): A PERCEPTION FROM THE COORDINATORS OF THE ACCOUNTING SCIENCES COURSE”) received the maximum score (10 – ten) unanimously from the Doctor Professors that were part of the  Doctors part of the Panel – Professors Prof. Dr. José Carlos Marion (Guidance Counselor), Prof. Dr. Sergio de Ludícibus and Prof. Dr. Anísio Cândido Pereira and Doctoral student of Management at the Lisbon of Economics & Management (ISEG).
